Farm Land Development

Greenways International Inc as an agricultural development company is starting operations in Africa. Our objective is to act as principal by investing capital to create commercially viable agribusiness investment opportunities so as to bring them to a point of attraction for private domestic and overseas investors. We would act as the organizing agent on the ground to structure viable, investment-ready opportunities. By shouldering the earliest stage costs and risks, our company reduces the costs and risks of entry by private investors and thereby stimulates greater private investment in agribusiness.

The backbone infrastructure in the regions which forms the broader context of our proposed Project is largely adequate to support commercial agriculture. Several improvements to the railway, roads and port are being made/ planned by the national governments. We will develop necessary new off-farm infrastructure leading to the agriculture projects site. This includes bringing power, water and road access to the farm-gate

An agricultural machinery pool will be established and a core team of experts in agriculture/ horticulture support disciplines will be at hand to provide assistance. We will put in place arrangements for prospective farmers to access sustainable agriculture support services namely agricultural machinery, production inputs, financial services and extension services. We will also make efforts to establish linkages of our prospective Farm Owners with other agriculture supporting infrastructure/ services in the adjoining region, namely, access to local markets, processing/ milling facilities, cold storage and wholesale/export-markets.

We also propose to offer building design and construction services associated with commercial farming within the Project. Prospective Farm Owners, aspiring to construct site office, store house for inputs or produce, or a farmhouse will be in a position to avail these consultancy services or get their construction done on turnkey basis at fair prices.

We endeavor to become a socially responsible global agribusiness company, seeking to influence agricultural policies and promote a modernization of agriculture in Africa, working to support an African Green Revolution through Public- Private Partnerships. Our goal is to help increase growth, to increase food production, and to contribute to a green revolution in East Africa, which can serve as a model for other countries.

Machinery Pool

Greenways International Inc. will establish a pool of machinery, tools and equipment to facilitate farm land development and all stages of farming. This will be available for in-house operations, to the company’s investors/ sub- leasers, out-grower farmers and other interested clients. Most appropriate models will be picked in adequate quantities for inclusion in the pool. Our suggestive list comprises of trans-meters, eye-levels, dozers D-8. dozers D-4, shovels, dumpers, excavators(2 long-stick), tractors (double tire), cultivators, front blades, lasers, trolleys (hydraulic), discs, sohaga, water tankers, oil tankers, drillers, laboratory, fertilizer spreader, water pumps, scrapers, road roller, and sheep-foot roller etc.
